# Introduction

Cloud Assert Billing for Microsoft Azure Stack is a usage tracking and billing solution for hybrid cloud. It is installed as resource provider in Azure Stack and provides integrated experience for admin and tenant users inside Azure Stack portal. It allows the cloud administrator to set prices in Pay-As-You-Go, Fixed payment and hybrid models.
