License Activation

  • Login to the VConnect Resource Provider Virtual Machine.

  • Open a new elevated (administrative) PowerShell console and change to the directory “C:\Packages\Plugins\Microsoft.Powershell.DSC\2.19.0.0\DSCWork\setupVConnectConfiguratio n.0\AzureStack.VConnect.Setup.1.0.0\content\Setup”

  • Run ActivateLicense.ps1 script and specify the required parameters.

  • Copy the generated License.cal file to the location “C:\inetpub\MgmtSvc-CloudAssertVConnect\bin”

  • Recycle the IIS application pool for the site MgmtSvc-CloudAssert-VConnect

  • In Admin Portal, click VConnect> License blade to see the licensed features and quotas
