Backup Configurations Steps

Configuration Veeam backup in Hybr admin portal

1. Setup Veeam backup connection

2. Add the Veeam backup connection in vCenter or Hyper-V connection

3. Enable Backup in Plan

   1. Choose the desired Veeam connections

Scheduling a backup in Hybr tenant portal

1. Navigate to Backup menu in tenant portal

2. Create a schedule

3. Choose the Virtual Machines that needs to be part of the scheduled backup

Setup Veeam backup connection

Navigation: Hybr Admin portal ➡️ VConnect ➡️ Connections ➡️ Veeam ➡️Click Create Veeam Connection.

Step 2: Choose Veeam repositories and enable VMware, Hyper-V backup options

Set Veeam as backup provider in Connection

Navigation: Hybr Admin portal ➡️ VConnect ➡️ Connections ➡️ vCenter➡️Click edit icon against a desired connection.

Navigate to Step 2 in the connection wizard and Choose the Veeam in backup provider dropdown.

Enable backup in Plan

Navigation: Hybr Admin portal ➡️ Offers➡️ Plans➡️ Services➡️CloudAssertVConnect

Enable Backup checkbox under Features category.

Choose Backup connections that should be listed to the tenants

Navigation: Click Configure against a connection ➡️ Select Backups tab

Choose the desired backup connections from the dropdown

Save the plan settings and the backup connections configured will be displayed in the Hybr tenant portal.
