Installation

  • Create a database for Cost Management if not already available

  • Update Database

    • Extract ‘Tool.zip’

    • Update the database connection string in tool’s config file

    • Open command prompt in administrator mode and navigate to ‘Tool’ folder path

    • Execute the command ‘CloudAssert.CostManagement.Tool.exe UpdateDatabase’

  • Reset temporary tables

  • Start installing CloudAssert.CostManagement.WindowsService.Setup and click ‘Next’

  • Accept License Agreement and click ‘Next’

  • Verify the installation features, need not to change anything and click ‘Next’

  • Enter the already created database Instance Name and database name, click ‘Test’ and then ‘Next’

  • Enter Database credentials and click ‘Test’ and ‘Next’

  • Click ‘Install’ and once completed click ‘Finish’
