Steps for supporting PowerCLI version 6.7 to 11.2
While installing the VConnect Service download the PowerCLI signed Vim dll and its dependencies.
User will be prompted to download the dlls.
Add the following downloaded dlls in the VConnect bin folder( \inetpub\MgmtSvc-CloudAssert-VConnect\bin)
Prepare vCenter: (required for VMware integration)
Clusters that will be configured with VConnect must have DRS turned on in vCenter.
Recommended Settings for VM Templates in vCenter:
Ensure that VM Templates in the vCenter environment used for VM provisioning through VConnect, are created with only 1 core per socket and 1 CPU.
Adding a connection
Specify the Machines server URL, user name and password and click the refresh button. The available datacenters and clusters will be listed.
