There are two VConnect supported backup providers namely,
Veeam
Commvault
Create a Veeam backup connection to enable Backup Feature for the tenants.
Navigate to the ‘Veeam’ section within ‘Connections’ section.
Click ‘Add Connection’ command button to add a Veeam Connection.
Enter a user-friendly connection name and Veeam server details.
Enter the Veeam Backup repository or leave blank to use default repository.
If the default WMI ports to be used, then do not select ‘USE HTTPS FOR WMI’ and enter 5985 for ‘Backup Server WMI Port’.
If HTTPS only is configured, then select ‘USE HTTPS FOR WMI’ and enter the default WMI HTTPS Port 5986 (or the specific port you have configured).
Create a Commvault backup connection to enable Backup Feature for the tenants.
Navigate to the ‘Commvault’ section within ‘Connections’ section.
Click ‘Add Connection’ command button to add a Commvault Connection.
Enter a user-friendly connection name and Commvault server details.
Click the ‘Refresh’ button to load the Storage Policies.
Select a storage policy.
