# Scheduling a backup using Veeam

#### Choose a backup connection

Click on **Create Schedule** and choose **VMware** or **Hyper-V**

Step 1: Schedule a backup.

To trigger backup job immediately instead of waiting for the next scheduled time, choose *Trigger backup Now* option.

Step 2: Configure the Virtual Machines for the backups schedule

Once the schedule is created, the backup will trigger based on the scheduled time.
