# Network Management

#### Network

In Network Tab, you can see the list of selected networks for a connection. Here you can also choose NWs from available vCenter networks.

Only these configured networks will be available to tenants in VM creation. So, this step is an important one to start with VM creation.

* **Configure Network**

To configure network,

* Navigate to “VConnect->Connections->VCenter” in Admin site
* Drill down into a connection for which you want to configure network.
* Click on “Network” tab
* Click “configure network” button
* Select from the list of networks and click save

* Now the Selected Networks will be shown in “Networks” page

#### Switches

In switches Tab, you can see the list of selected switches for a connection. And you can configure/select switches from list of available virtual switches from VCenter.

These selected switches are shown to tenant in virtual network creation. This step is important for tenant NW related scenarios.

**a. Configure Switch**

To configure switch,

* Navigate to “VConnect->Connections->VCenter” in Admin site
* Drill down into a connection for which you want to configure switch.
* Click on “switch” tab
* Click “configure switch” button
* Select from the list of switches and click save
