# Dashboards

### Creating a Dashboard

To create a new dashboard, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Hybr Admin portal and navigate to Reporting → Dashboards page.

2. Click on the "Create Dashboard" button.<br>

3. Provide a friendly name and description of the dashboard.
4. Choose the scope type of the dashboard you want to create and click submit

   1. Admin scope dashboards are only visible to Administrators
   2. Tenant scope dashboards are visible to Administrators as well as all the tenants

5. Check the Home Dashboard check box for setting this dashboard in the Hybr portal landing page.
6. A new dashboard will be created and open a new window for designer view.

### Add data sources to the new dashboard

1. Add a data source, components and customer as per the need like shown below.

2. Save your dashboard.

### Editing a Dashboard

If you want to make changes to an existing dashboard, follow these steps.

1. Log in to Hybr Admin portal and navigate to Reporting → Dashboards page.
2. Click on the "Toggle Designer View"  button of dashboard you want to edit button → designer. <br>

3. Make the desired changes to your dashboard.
4. Save your changes.

### Linking Dashboards

Link dashboard feature helps to link one or more dashboards together and helps maintains similar type of dashboards together and switch between on demand

### Cloning an existing dashboard for customization

Dashboard clone option helps duplicate an existing dashboard and customize as per the need.<br>

### Show/hide Linked dashboards

The below option will be useful to view linked dashboards along with other dashboards.
